Heavy Leather Satchel/Bag with matching long wallet
This is a beautiful handmade purse/satchel and matching long wallet are made from a combination of 8-9 oz., 5-6 oz., and 3-4 oz. leather. Two feather carvings were added, one to each side of the flap as well as a hand tooled basket weave added to main parts of the flap. The main body of the purse, the side gussets, and the flap have been dyed Saddle Tan. The flap and main body were antiqued using Fiebings Medium Brown antique paste which caused a slight darkening of the Saddle Tan dye. The gussets were not antiqued and give a unique gradient from the main body. The accessories (shoulder straps, flap tie downs, and side D-rings) were dyed Dark Brown to give the whole purse a two-tone effect. All hardware (D-rings, buckles, and strap keepers) are all antique solid brass. All stitching was done by hand using 1.0 Brown Tiger thread.
The long wallet has 12 slots for all your many credit cards, business cards, id card, or whatever. There are two large pockets on each side where you can slide in your paper money, receipts or what have you. The edges have been burnished to a nice shine and the wallet closes with a solid antique brass snap.
The outside dimension of the purse are:
Length = 12”
Height = 9” (not including handle)
Width = 4 1/2”
